Dio Deka has received multiple Wine Spectator’s Best of Award of Excellence over the years. We are honored to be included in the company of such a few selected restaurants to receive this distinguished award for their wine list. To be considered for such an honor these wine lists must display excellent breadth across multiple winegrowing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation while typically offering 350 or more selections.
Dio Deka’s boasts as one of the most extensive wine lists in Silicon Valley featuring more than 1200 wines. True to Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, our program celebrates the pleasures of wine, with offerings for all levels of oenophiles, from affordable wines to cult labels rarely available. The wine list includes selections from some of the world’s top wine producers including top Burgundy and first-growth Bordeaux as well as lesser-known boutique wineries.
We have placed an emphasis on offering wines made with varietals typical to regionals in Greece such as Moschofilero from Mantinia or Assyrtiko in Santorini, Albariño from Rias Baixas in Spain, Sangiovese from Tuscany in Italy, and Cabernet Sauvignon from the California Napa Valley, celebrating the distinct terroir and culture of each of these wine regions represented on the list.
